Gordon B. Clark, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Gordon Clark is an expert in metabolic management and the reversal of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. Additionally, he specializes in the reversal of polycystic disorder in women as well as maximizing exercise performance for athletes. With this expertise, it is only natural that he has incorporated cosmetic and aesthetic services into his practice.

As the former director of The Breast Clinic, he is one of fewer than 20 American surgeons qualified to perform Natural Breast Augmentation in addition to other natural fat-transfer procedures, which provide for permanent dermal fillers. Dr. Clark owns and operates Modern Dermatology and Aesthetics as well as the Women’s and Family Care divisions of the Look Good, Feel Good, Be Healthy offices in Shawnee, Kansas, which serves the Greater Kansas City Metro Area.

Dr. Clark graduated from both the University of Kansas and the University of Kansas Medical School. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, after which he taught residents in OB/GYN and Family Practice while serving seven years in the Navy.

Desiring a change of scenery and a return to his Midwest roots, Dr. Clark moved back to the Kansas City area to act as Medical Director at the Diagnostic Breast Center at Truman Medical Center. In addition, he trained General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and OB/GYN residents at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He focuses his teaching and his practice on a holistic approach to medicine.

Dr. Clark is a member of the American College of Obstetrics, American Board of Bariatric Medicine, American Academy of Cosmetic Gynecologists, American Association of Bariatric Physicians, Society of Aesthetic Injectors, and the Kansas City Gynecological Society.

Tracy Clark, ARNP-C

As an advanced registered nurse practitioner at Look Good, Feel Good, Be Healthy, Tracy assists patients in Family Care, Palliative Care, and Lymphedema Therapy.Tracy graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing, Webster University, and the University of Kansas. She has been a registered nurse since 1985 and a nurse practitioner since 2006. Tracy’s dedication to patient comfort and education is exceeded only by her skill and expertise in caring for women and their health. She strives to make each patient comfortable enough to express concerns and ask questions and works to find individualized solutions for each person.

Diane Hanna, ARNP-C

As a board-certified family nurse practitioner, Diane has expertise in the area of atopic dermatitis, soft tissue augmentation, neurotoxins, and minimally invasive cosmetic correction techniques. Diane is the Director of Clinical Research at the Modern Dermatology division at Look Good, Feel Good, Be Healthy in Shawnee, KS, which serves the Greater Kansas City Metro Area.Diane passionately believes that advancement and education for nurse practitioners, physician’s assistants, and registered nurses is of paramount importance. She believes that the cornerstone of advancement among dermatology colleagues is collaboration and education.Diane graduated with distinction from the University of Kansas in 2006, with a Master’s Degree in Nursing. She has since completed her Doctorate at the University of Kansas, where she graduated with honors in 2010. The focus of her doctorate work included emerging treatments and managements of atopic dermatitis and its developing pathways as well as bench science research on the mechanics of dermal fillers.Diane’s extensive background in drug research and development includes work in the dermatology pharmaceutical industry, where she worked on Phase II, III, and IV drug and device research. Her passion for teaching, writing, and research is evident in the large number of publications she has authored. In addition, Diane has been an editorial board member of many journals and teaches at both the academic and national levels.Diane is a founding member and president of the Society of Aesthetic Injectors. Her affiliations include the Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Society, Dermatology Nurse’s Association, The American Academy of Dermatology, Sigma Theta Tau, and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Diane has received many awards from her peers and the community.

Carla Abbott

Carla Abbott, who is originally from Brazil, is a licensed Esthetician in both Kansas and Missouri. With more than 10 years of experience in esthetics, she has extensive knowledge in laser procedures, medical microdermabrasion, different types of chemical peels, medical facials and mineral makeup. Carla’s passion is helping her clients. She works to improve skin concerns by developing a plan that includes a combination of in-office treatments with an at-home skin care regimen.
